Parenting Programmes - to Support Children aged 0 to 3 years

Parenting programmes are workshops and/or groups that support you with some of the challenges of being a parent. Parents tell us that they learn a great deal from each other and enjoy the support that a group provides. We offer a selection of free workshops, whatever the age or needs of your child.

Join us for a free 20-hour workshop (10 weekly 2-hour sessions) for parents and carers of children aged 1 to 3 years.

This is an evidence-based workshop that covers topics such as:

  • How your child develops
  • Understanding how your child is feeling
  • Tuning into what your child needs
  • Responding to how your child is feeling
  • Different styles of parenting
  • Having fun together
  • The rhythm of interaction
  • Why is sleep important?
  • Self-regulation and anger
  • Communication and tuning in
  • Looking back and looking forwards

This workshop is offered both face-to-face and online.

It can be confusing knowing when and how to start introducing solid foods. We’re here to guide you through the journey of starting your baby on solid foods and explain what it all means.

This is a 2-hour session, booking is essential.
