Train others - Phoenix Services

Phoenix Services has been working across Cornwall since 2002. It is the external training arm of Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service.

We deliver courses at local community fire stations across Cornwall or at your premises if you have a large enough group.

For more information about our full range of Safety and Education courses, view the online brochure.

Safety and Education

We offer a variety of regulated and non-regulated courses in areas including:

  • fire safety
  • first aid
  • marine fire-fighting

All courses are delivered by our experienced and qualified trainers.

Our fire safety awards are all designed to ensure your premises follow the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2015.

Our first aid courses are all designed to meet the first aid requirements set out by:

  • The Health & Safety Executive
  • Early Years for the Paediatric First Aid.

Visit the Phoenix Safety and Education for more information.

Driving Academy

We offer a range of driving courses for mini bus drivers. They are delivered by fully qualified and experienced driving instructors.

We are also able to offer driver development training for those that regularly drive a vehicle for work or may be identified as “high risk” drivers. This could be due to number of collisions, speeding convictions or a significant number of points on their licence.

Visit the Phoenix Services Driving Academy for more information.

Community Engagement and Training

Inspire, Motivate, Achieve

Our training is a community engagement scheme that utilises fire service training and activities. The aim of it is to help achieve positive goals by:

  • Helping individuals to raise aspirations, improve teamwork and communication skills.
  • Help motivate the student to achieve their full potential.
  • Help give the student a positive impact for themselves and their communities.
