Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service (CFRS) is working in partnership with:
- Devon and Cornwall Police
- South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust
- Maritime Coastguard Agency
The aim is to work together in a more efficient and effective way. And to achieve and ensure the health, safety and well-being of the most vulnerable people in our communities.
Working in partnership
Tri-Service Safety Officer
The Tri-Service Safety Officer role combines the Police, Ambulance and Fire and Rescue Services. The role is to protect, prevent and respond to community safety matters.
Bringing together Fire and Rescue, Police and Ambulance in one building. By sharing building costs and resources we can provide a more efficient emergecy response.
Some on-call firefighters not only respond to fire but also respond to medical calls. This ensures prompt medical treatment is given to people living in isolated areas.
Safer Cornwall is a partnership of public, voluntary, community and private organisations who come together to do all that they can to make Cornwall’s communities safer.
