Hens Sen Peran (Truro to Bodmin via Newquay)
Heading north from Truro, the trail follows minor roads through the village of St Newlyn East before reaching Newquay, Cornwall's most popular holiday destination.
From Newquay the route heads inland to the old market town of St. Columb Major. It then travels north across Denzell Downs and on towards the thriving coastal village of Padstow. The trail emerges on the banks of the Camel estuary. It then joins the Camel Trail which leads eastwards into the old county town of Bodmin, where it rejoins the main spine route.

How to get there
By rail - Truro train station is on the main line and the Trail starts outside the Train Station. Change at Par train station for the branch line to Newquay. The Trail has a link to Newquay Station on Station Parade. From Newquay you can cycle to Padstow and on to Bodmin or towards Truro linking in to the wider network.

By bus - there are a number of bus stops along the trail, buses also run to many of the nearby towns and villages. You can find information about timetables and tickets on the Traveline South West website.
