How do we spend the money 2026?


For 2026/27 we plan to spend £1.752bn (gross) on providing services to 583,289 people living in Cornwall. That is equivalent to £3,004.81 per person.

This total is allocated as follows:

  • Safe and Caring Communities: £486.801m
  • Together for Families (excl. maintained schools): £424.228m
  • Together for Families (maintained schools): £80.260m
  • Sustainable Growth and Place: £234.135m
  • Community Wellbeing: £216.812m
  • Customer and Corporate Services: £91.950m
  • Other corporate items: £218.485m
