Council Tax Bands 2026


On 24th February 2026 Cornwall Council set its budget and council tax for 2026/27.

Cornwall Council has approved an increase of 4.99% for its element of the Council Tax charge. This equates to an additional £99.16 on a Band D charge. This includes 2% to help fund Adult Social Care services.

The Devon and Cornwall Police and Crime Commissioner has chosen to increase their element of the Council Tax by 5.20%. The average Town and Parish Council charge has increased by 9.13% for 2026/27.
