You may be able to get money off your Council Tax bill
If you’ve received a reminder notice
If you don’t pay your Council Tax on time we’ll send you a reminder notice. This will tell you to make a payment within seven days and make future payments on time.
If you fall behind with your instalments again, we will send a final notice. This advises you that you have lost the right to pay by instalments and you will have to pay the whole amount straight away.
If you don’t pay the balance requested in full, the next stage is to issue you with a court summons.
