Cornwall residents who feel they need some care and support can now request help through an online form.
The form has been developed as part of Cornwall Council’s Delivering Better Care programme and should make it easier for people who prefer to use online services to request support.
Once submitted it automatically feeds into the council’s systems, making the process much more streamlined and supporting the council’s aim to help people get the right care, in the right place, at the right time.
Cornwall Council cabinet member for adults and public health, Andy Virr said:
“We are looking closely at the various means by which residents can contact us, and how we can use the information they provide to support them in the best way possible.
“As we continue our journey to transform adult social care in Cornwall, we will be looking at more ways in which to make our processes smoother and ultimately achieve our aim of people getting the support they need to live safely, in vibrant and supportive communities.”
We understand that not everyone will be able to access online services, so this isn’t the only way to get help. You can still contact us via the telephone.
