There will be a wide range of care sector employers attending with roles available across Camborne, Hayle, Helston, Redruth, St Ives, St Just and Penzance.

Cornwall Council cabinet lead for adult social care and health, Cllr Andy Virr said:

“I’d encourage anyone who is thinking about a new job or career in West Cornwall to go this event. There’s no better opportunity to meet employers to find out more about the roles available and how you can get involved.

“On this occasion people will be able to have an interview there and then and, if things go well, leave with a conditional offer of employment. It’s quick and easy and could mark the start of a brand-new career.”

Cornwall Partners in Care Executive Officer Richard Monk said:

“This is a great opportunity for providers to come together and meet potential employees to learn all about what it’s like to work in the care sector in Cornwall. It is one of the most rewarding jobs that anyone can do and I’d urge anyone who is even just a little bit curious to come along and find out more what it’s all about.”

The following care provider employers will be attending:

  • Bluebird Care (Mid and West Cornwall)
  • Brandon Trust
  • Corserv Care
  • Cornwallis
  • Greenlight
  • Swallowcourt
  • Salutem

People are encouraged to book onto the event before attending but you can just turn up on the day.

There is more information available on Indeed’s website where you can also register your attendance.

It is a drop-in event and people can turn up anytime between 9.30am and 4.30pm.
