Care work in our communities
If social work isn’t for you but you would still like a career in care there are a range of social care providers in Cornwall with job opportunities for people with the right values and a desire to help support others.
The role of care workers in our communities could not be more vital than it is today.
Care workers provide an essential service. They visit people in their homes to help them remain independent. They also support them in residential homes. Each carer’s contribution is invaluable to helping others live their lives. As a care worker the small things that you do could help make a big difference to someone’s life.
That is why Proud to Care was launched. To tell people about how rewarding a career in social care and health can be.
In November 2020 a new Cornwall recruitment campaign was launched 'Cornwall needs you now'. This is a joint campaign with:
- adult social care providers
- Cornwall Council
All working together to encourage people to apply for jobs across the social care and health sector in Cornwall.
If you know what type of role you want visit the Proud to Care Cornwall website to view vacancies and apply.
