The 'Strategic Sectors Team' are working on a project to strengthen local industries.
It is funded through the Shared Prosperity Fund. It is in place to enhance sector coordination in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
It focuses on six key sectors:
- Clean Energy
- Geo-resources
- Space
- Visitor Economy
- Agri-food
- Creative Industries
The project works with sector groups to:
- Identify new market opportunities
- Develop regional insights
- Find supply chain opportunities
- Profile sectors for external investment opportunities
- Engage local authorities in priority sector activities
