Birth, death, marriage and civil partnership certificates

We provide certified copy certificates for births, deaths and marriages that took place in Cornwall. 

If your event occurred in Plymouth, Devon or the Isles of Scilly please use the following links to order your certificate.

If your event took place elsewhere outside of Cornwall, you will need to apply direct to that district.

Certificate Fees

Standard Service

• Fee: £12.50

• Your certificate will be posted to you by 2nd class mail.

• We aim to send your certificate 4 working days after you submit your order, please allow 15 working days for delivery with Royal Mail.

Priority Service

• Fee: £38.50

• Your certificate will be posted by 1st class mail the next working day (this does not include the weekend or bank holidays). 

• We can only offer this service for posting within the UK.

Please note: Once certificates have been posted, delivery is handled by Royal Mail. We are unable to track or influence delivery times once items are in their possession.
