Truro Loops connects Truro city centre to employment and residential areas. They aim to reduce reliance on car travel. They will encourage a walking and cycling alternative. There will be six routes enabling access to open areas, rivers and the local countryside.

The project value is £1.86m. This will be funded by £606,537 of European Regional Development Fund contributions. The remainder will be Council contributions.

The wider vision for Truro Loops includes several phases. There will be a bridge at Lighterage Quay, connecting Boscowen Park and Newham as part of a river loop. This will be encompassed with the Town Deal Fund bid. Further phases will be included in future funding streams. They will be worked within the Truro Transport Strategy.
