Things to remember
- It must be in plain English scoring a 9 or below
This is because the average reading age in the UK is age 8, if you are creating a page you want everyone to be able to understand it. Use Hemmingway to check your page score. - It must be accessible
This is a legal requirement. Links must all have descriptions to tell the user where they are going if they click on it, images must have descriptions so that users who cant see know what the image is or means. Any documents uploaded and linked to must also be accessible. - It must have a meaningful title and keywords
Search engines use page titles and keywords (SEO) to work out how important pages are and what they are about. If you dont have a meaningful titles and keywords no-one will find your page. - Links must work
It is very important to preview your page and check that your links work and your page makes sense on a laptop and mobile view. If you have given your link a button is the text off the page on a mobile? Make sure its not too long.

Will they make sense when read out of context? - Related links
Add at least one related link to help customers navigate around your pages. - Headings must be in order
Use headings to break up your page content but, make sure you use them in order - Images can only be used where they add to the content
Only use images on a Sub hub banner or where they add to the content. - Spelling
Double check your spelling and punctuation. - Formatting
If you have a word document that you are copying and pasting for your content, you will also copy all the word formatting into the page. To prevent this, paste your content into 'notepad' first and then into Umbraco.
