Cornwall Council is committed to the prevention, deterrence, detection and investigation of all types of fraud against the Council, its group of companies and partners. As a result, the Council has a ‘zero tolerance’ policy towards fraud, bribery, corruption or other misuse of public money and assets.
Any suspicion of wrongdoing, error, fraud, bribery or corruption will be treated seriously and will be reviewed with due regard to the law. Suspected fraud, bribery or corruption will be investigated in an independent, open-minded, fair, transparent and professional manner with the aim of protecting the interests of both the Council and as appropriate any suspected individual(s).
The information you have provided will be used for the prevention and detection of crime and it may be shared with other organisations for these purposes. It will be retained in line with the Council's retention schedule. The data will be held in a secure environment and once your information is no longer required, it will be destroyed securely and confidentially. The data is subject to the Council's Privacy Notice which can be found at Cornwall Council Privacy Notice
