Relay UK brings relay services for deaf, hard-of-hearing, and speech-impaired people using both app and textphone technology.
You can use Relay UK from a smartphone, tablet, computer or textphone. When making a call, you will be connected to a Relay Assistant who will speak the words you type to the person you're calling. The Relay Assistant will type their reply so you can read it on your display.
If you are a textphone (minicom) user, please dial 18001 before the number you require.
If you have downloaded the Relay UK app, first open the app before dialling the number you require on your device’s keypad. For more information on using the app.
Relay UK assisted calls are charged at your telecommunication provider’s normal rates.
