Join the Cornwall Childminder Mentor Programme!
Childminders and those going through the registration process have the option to join the Cornwall Childminding Mentor Programme to get local support.
We will link you with one of our Ofsted graded 'outstanding' childminder mentors. They will offer:
- support
- try to answer your queries
- keep you up to date with news, and
- create opportunities for you to meet up with other childminders
This free personal support is very useful, especially while you are going through the registration process.
Contact the Early Years Service and we will put you in touch with a mentor. In addition to a mentor, we have a dedicated Early Years provider platform and half termly online network meetings, which provide free training and information.
Members will receive:
- peer mentoring support by phone and email
- group visits and activities
- regular updates via our early years provider email updates
- be a part of our Cornwall Childminding Network for the sharing of ideas and information
- access to half termly, evening, Cornwall Childminding Network Meetings
- an emailed membership certificate
There is no charge to join, but as part of our aim to promote quality, we ask you to complete the SEND Local Offer information on your Family Information Service profile.
