The data provided on this form is collected by Cornwall Council (the “Council”) as data controller.
This is in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK General Data Protection Regulations.
The Council will keep the information given on this form on a database and may use the information for one or more of the following purposes:
- processing your application for a booking
- monitoring and administering the booking system
- preventing or detecting the unlawful disposal of commercial or industrial waste
- taking any enforcement action relating to the unlawful disposal of waste
We will ask you to provide us with your name, address, contact details and vehicle details in order to set up a booking for you. Your address will be used to confirm you are a Cornish resident, and therefore eligible to use Cornwall's HWRCs. The Council will pass your vehicle details to our waste disposal contractors SUEZ Recycling and Recovery UK Ltd and Cornwall Energy Recovery Ltd who will use the information for the Purposes. Without these details we will not be able to provide you with the service(s) you have requested.
The Council will not disclose the information to any other third party except where such disclosure is a legal requirement or is lawful or is in furtherance of the Purposes.
We will retain your details for 5 years from the date of your booking. All personal information held by Cornwall Council and its external service providers is held in a secure environment.
