Occupational therapists

Message from our Service Lead for Occupational Therapy

Cornwall is known for its beautiful coastline and stunning natural environment but, as in many parts of the country, we are facing an increasing demand for Occupational Therapists to support our adult residents.

We have an ageing population and areas of deprivation especially in rural locations, which often sit aside pockets of wealth.

We need you!

As a progressive and compassionate council we are confident we can tackle these big issues head on with the right people in our Occupational Therapy service.

We have vacancies in our geographic teams in;

  • East
  • Mid
  • and West Cornwall

including newly qualified Occupational Therapists.

We can provide relocation support of up to £8,000 for eligible candidates relocating to Cornwall and are flexible with start dates.

We also offer a Welcome Payment of £4,000 for qualified Occupational Therapists with the right skills who are new to Cornwall.

This is paid on successful completion of probation period.

Our Occupational Therapists are employed under Agenda for Change terms and conditions so we can offer competitive salaries in line with our health colleagues.

Flexible and hybrid working are offered to ensure that our employees can achieve a good work life balance.
