The Multi-Agency Support and Safeguarding Hub (MASSH) brings together professionals from social care, health, education and police to respond to concerns about children and young people.
We provide:
Safeguarding response for children at risk
Help and Support (Family Help)
Advice and guidance for professionals, families and the public
What services are accessed through the MASSH?
Safeguarding concerns about a child
Family Help. This includes:
youth work
family support work
Supporting Change in Partnership (SCIP)
Early Support
Portage
Child exploitation
Private Fostering notifications
Occupational Therapy
All requests are received through our online form, where they are reviewed and triaged to the most appropriate support.
Please refer to the Cornwall Continuum of Need prior to making an online referral for form for safeguarding or family help.
Getting advice and guidance
If you are unsure what support is needed call 0300 123 1116 for advice. We can help you decide whether to submit an online form or access support directly from another service.
Outside of our office hours you can call 01208 251300. The Out Of Hours team covers:
week days from 5.15pm (4.45pm Fridays) until 8.45am
weekends from 4.45pm on Friday until 8.45am the following Monday
all public holidays

Already working with a social worker or Family Help Worker?
If a child / young person has an allocated social worker or family help worker, please contact that practitioner directly rather than make a new referral / request into the MASSH.
