How you can get involved

Are you a young person who would like to get involved in Children’s Rights activities or find out more? There are lots of ways to get involved - from joining school councils and local groups to taking part in surveys.

Local Opportunities

Schools and Colleges

If you currently attend school or college there will be ways you can get involved there.  You can express your views and influence decisions in many ways. For example, you could join a school council or ambassadors scheme, or use a suggestion box. Ask an adult at your school to find out more.

Have your Say

You can find out who your local Councillor is and how to contact them by going to our Councillors and meetings page.

Councillors and meetings

You can also find out when the Council meet and take the opportunity to submit a Public question.

The Council seeks people’s views and opinions on lots of different things going on in Cornwall.

You can have your say by completing the surveys and polls on our Let’s Talk website.

At the moment, most people who answer the surveys are adults over 50 years old and we want to hear more from young people.
