Understanding public transport/accessing the community

Session or Support Description

The group decides on the destination, the idea is for everyone to access their local transport and feel confident in using the services. This could be understanding timetables, what platform do I need to be on. Staff are available to support individuals to become independent. To feel safe in using the train/bus services which should be accessed by all. It is the opportunity to explore further afield and to travel to places that you may not have thought about. Travelling with a group of like minded people. Enabling trust and confidence to think 'I can do this for myself' which enable choice and independence.
