The Leats Day Service

Session or Support Description

The Leats is in the centre of Truro, with easy access to local shops, services, and community spaces. Our service aims to help you get involved in the community and develop independent living skills. You can come for a full day or a half day. We offer a wide range of activities such as Zumba, cooking, gardening and accessing the community. We also offer health and well-being activities such as discussion groups and yoga. Our friendly staff are here to support you — helping you build confidence, learn new skills, and make friends.

Expected outcomes
Everyone is different, which is why we work with you to choose goals that match what you want and need. Your outcomes might include feeling more confident, becoming more independent, joining in with your local community, communicating better with others or learning how to stay healthy and well. We want you to have fun and feel part of your community. Many of our activities are designed to help you do just that.
