Session or Support Description
Parkview is a warm and friendly place for adults with learning disabilities. You can come for a full day or a half day. We offer lots of fun activities, such as helping out in the local community, going for walks in our beautiful surroundings or taking a day trip. Other activities available include cooking and learning new recipes, using computers and taking photos, arts and crafts or taking part in our drama workshops. You can also try music therapy with our musicians or Sensory activities in our sensory room. We listen to what you like and what you need and base our activities around you. Our staff help you feel confident, learn new things, and make friends.
Expected outcomes
Everyone is different, which is why we work with you to choose outcomes that match what you want and need. Your outcomes might include feeling more confident, becoming more independent, joining in with your local community, talking and listening better with others or learning how to stay healthy and well.
We want you to feel part of your community. Many of our activities are designed to help you do just that.
