Session or Support Description
Blantyre is a warm and friendly place for adults with learning disabilities. You can come for a full day or a half day. We offer lots of fun activities including sing & sign, dancercise, multi-sensory stories, rebound therapy, sports and yoga sessions. We also offer cookery and access to community groups such as walking clubs, opportunities to try drama, gardening and have access to a fully equipped sensory room. Our staff are on hand to help you feel confident, learn new things, and make friends.
Expected outcomes
Everyone is different, which is why we work with you to choose goals that match what you want and need. Your outcomes might include feeling more confident, becoming more independent, joining in with your local community, communicating better with others or learning how to stay healthy and well.
We want you to have fun and feel part of your community. Many of our activities are designed to help you do just that.
