CHAOS Farm Volunteering Days

Session or Support Description

CHAOS Farm volunteer day is every Wednesday, 9.30-15.00 (though times can vary depending upon transport etc). Individuals come to learn how to care for and tend a variety of plants, whilst learning about themselves and working within a team, whilst giving back to the community and helping to reduce food poverty in Cornwall via the growing model. Alongside this, individuals learn about their local environment, how to protect/ enhance it and how to reduce their negative impact within it. This is done via a combination of regeneration of various areas, and care and maintenance of others. This provision is free, though if individuals wish to gain an accredited qualification during their time with us, they would need to pay for the certification fee, (this varies depending upon the course they wish to complete).
