Getting an Autism diagnosis as an Adult

Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust has an Adult Autism Assessment Team. They provide assessments for people aged 16 and over. This is a diagnosis-only service, and does not offer support. There is also a significant waiting list, which could be as long as three years.

NHS Support for people with Autism

Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust has an Autism Intensive Support Team. They provide advice, assessment and treatment for adults with Autism.

NHS Support for people with ADHD

Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust has an Adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Service. They provide assessments and treatment of ADHD for people over 18.

Understanding Neurodiversity course

This course is run by Talking Therapies Service at Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. It can help you learn more about your own neurodivergent differences and to learn some coping strategies.  It takes place over 6 sessions of 90 minutes.
