About the charity

Every year, thousands of firefighters are injured whilst protecting the public. Every day in the UK, firefighters are called to incidents, putting their lives on the line. Often sustaining physical injuries whilst carrying out their duties.

The Fire Fighters Charity is here for all fire service personnel during their times of need. The charity helps thousands of individuals every year by providing:

  • Pioneering treatment
  • Rehabilitation
  • Counselling and more
It costs millions of pounds every year to keep the charity running.  With no financial help from the Government, the charity relies on donations from the general public and fire community

Attend a station car wash

The National Car Wash is the Charity's largest national fundraising event of the year. It involves fire stations throughout the UK washing the nation’s cars, in exchange for a donation.

The event also gives firefighters the opportunity to meet their community and share safety campaigns.

All car wash events will be added to the events web page and shared across our social media accounts.
