Public Rights of Way Safety Programme
Since 2016, the Public Rights of Way capital programme has aimed to fund and deliver schemes that require more financial investment than can usually be covered by the annual revenue budgets, such as:
- larger bridges and boardwalks
- surfacing or
- storm damage
This is the second year of a rolling programme that will continue until March 2029.
The schemes that are proposed to be delivered this financial year will be published here as soon as the 2026-27 budget is finalised.
