About Made Orders

This page lists details of Made Orders with active consultations under the Highways Act 1980 or the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. 

Please note, the wording for each Order below is taken from the legal notice published to advertise the making of the Public Path Order.

Public Path Orders made and advertised by the Council divert, extinguish or create public rights of way. They are made under either the Highways Act 1980 or the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. The public have an opportunity to make objections to or representations about an Order during the time period stated. Orders that are made by the Council can only become operative once they have been confirmed.

Footpath No. 39 St Agnes – Public Path Diversion Order

Town and Country Planning Act 1990 – section 257

On 26th June 2024 Cornwall Council made “The Cornwall Council Public Footpath No. 39 St Agnes (Part) (Land at Ropers Walk Farm, Mount Hawke) Public Path Diversion Order 2024”.  As required by Paragraph 1 of Schedule 14 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, Cornwall Council hereby gives notice of the making of the order.

Any representation about or objection to the Order may be sent in writing to the “Public Rights of Way Officer” at:

Footpath No. 46 Treverbyn and unrecorded Footpath Treverbyn - Public Path Extinguishment Order

Highways Act 1980 – section 118

On 27 February 2024 Cornwall Council made 'The Cornwall Council (Public Footpath No. 46 and an Unrecorded Footpath, Treverbyn)  Public Path Extinguishment Order 2024'

As required by Schedule 6 Paragraph 1 of the Highways Act 1980, Cornwall Council hereby gives notice of the making of the order.
