Residents across Cornwall can collect a free tree sapling and contribute to the Forest for Cornwall as tree-planting season gets under way later this year.
There are a choice of six native species to choose from at the Back Garden Forest tree giveaways.
The events take place from November through to next February at 10 different locations.
You can choose from dogwood, hazel, crab apple, bird cherry, wayfaring tree and rowan.
Every sapling comes with information on how to care for it. Just bring a bag to take your sapling home in.

Cllr Loic Rich, Cornwall’s portfolio holder for environment and climate change, said:
“This planting season we are offering free trees to one and all. You can plant them in your own gardens to be part of the Forest for Cornwall. It will increase nature in our communities.
“Whether you’re an avid gardener or a tree-planting novice, our Forest for Cornwall team can give you all the advice you need to plant the right tree in the right location.”
More than two million trees have been planted for the Forest for Cornwall since the scheme was launched in 2019, making up more than 2,000 hectares.
The Cornwall Council programme secured a further £8.76m from Defra’s Trees Programme earlier this year.
It will help the Forest for Cornwall reach its target of 8,000 hectares of new tree canopy by 2035 as set out in the authority’s Grow Nature Action Plan.
