A brand-new digital magazine to connect local people with careers help, skills workshops, and lifelong learning has been launched. It will accompany the Cornwall Opportunities website, the all-ages hub highlighting careers, apprenticeships and training opportunities within Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
The Cornwall Opportunities website is already packed full of useful tools and resources for those looking to kickstart or change careers, apply for apprenticeships or access further learning.
Now, the brand-new digital magazine will accompany the online portal as an invaluable resource to local people that can be shared far and wide.
Each issue will feature case studies on what it’s like to work in some of Cornwall’s biggest industries, with the first issue of the magazine highlighting Green and Digital Skills careers. Readers can also expect to find helpful information on apprenticeships, lifelong learning courses and skills bootcamps.
Each issue will also feature a spotlight on local education providers, with the first edition including an introduction to Cornwall College and what it offers, while Truro & Penwith College shares guidance on the future of adult learning in Cornwall.

Cornwall Opportunities has a huge range of information and tools for young people, adults, employers, teachers, parents, and local learning providers. A key feature is a searchable database of hundreds of jobs, apprenticeships, courses and more, across a wide range of industries, all in one place.

Now, we’re really excited to be launching the accompanying digital magazine to grow awareness and help more local people and families start well and live well as they take opportunities to find jobs, apprenticeships, and training in Cornwall.”
Cornwall Opportunities is funded by the UK Government through the G7 Legacy Fund. The magazine is available to view for free online now and is available to download on the Cornwall Opportunities website.
