Launceston Guildhall
At My Cornwall Wedding, we specialise in crafting personalised ceremonies that capture the essence of your love story. The impressive and historic Guildhall was built in 1881 and is used by Launceston Town Council as the Council Chamber. The ceremony room for Launceston Registration Office is located within Launceston Guildhall.
It is a prestigious space with magnificent stained-glass windows, a soaring wooden ceiling, oil paintings and portraits of former Mayors which all add to the sense of history and grandeur. The Guildhall has many original features, including its original gas lamps – although they now run on electricity!
Your wedding can be as simple or sophisticated as you wish. What is important to us is finding out what matters to you. You can choose either a Classic or Distinctive ceremony in Launceston Guildhall. More information on these can be found here: Your wedding package.
- You may invite up to 50 guests depending on your ceremony choice
- Biodegradable confetti can be thrown outside the building
