Fowey Town Hall

Fowey Town Hall is an 18th century Grade 2 listed building in the centre of historic Fowey town and is on the Town Quay, the perfect setting for spectacular wedding photographs with the river as a backdrop. You can even arrive at your wedding by boat if you fancy something different or can have your wedding announced by the Fowey Town Crier. An added bonus is that there is ample accommodation within walking distance of the Hall for wedding guests to stay, making it a great option for everybody.

Hotel Tresanton

  Hotel Tresanton is a former Yacht Club, now a beautiful boutique hotel, with views across the bay of St Mawes. Privately owned and managed, the hotel is set amongst Mediterranean planting and terraces.  There are two ceremony rooms, including the Dogs’ Bar for intimate weddings up to 12 persons and our Mosaic Room for weddings up to 70 persons. The hotel has 31 individually decorated bedrooms/suites with sea views and an award-winning restaurant serving seasonal menus.

Penryn Town Hall

Penryn is one of Cornwall's oldest towns, receiving its first charter in 1236. The beautiful granite Town Hall was originally known as the Market House and is situated in the centre of Penryn. The main hall seats a maximum of 80 guests. There is a cost for the hire of the Hall, this includes the day prior to the ceremony to allow for decoration and preparation. We recommend that you make a provisional booking of the Town hall and then contact the local Registry Team to confirm dates and times before making firm arrangements.

Ceremonies take place in the ground floor of the elegant house that stands at the top of the sub-tropical valley. The ceremony room has seating for forty guests and is licensed to host fifty people. Additional guests are welcome to arrive after the ceremony or observe from the private terrace. Room hire includes expert floral decoration using fresh greenery from the garden. Evening receptions are not available.

This lovely house, set in 1000 acres of Cornish countryside near the Helford River, has been the home of the Vyvyan family for over 600 years and was the romantic setting of Daphne Du Maurier’s Frenchman’s Creek.
