Applications are being accepted. It may take longer than usual to process your application and carryout consultations. It is likely that stopping up orders will take at least 12 months from application. This may be longer depending on court date availability.
The processing of new Section 38 and Section 278 applications has recommenced. Please submit your application by email, Egress or SharePoint. Please post one paper copy of each plan to our Bodmin office. We will contact you to arrange payment of your initial application fee.
We will assign to an officer when we have received the fee and all documents.
The officer aims to provide technical comments within 6 weeks. Responses to further submissions will take approximately 4 weeks. Delays may occur due to limitations of working from home. Your case officer can update you on individual applications. Please factor in extra time for the technical approval process. We would suggest that you make applications early.
Under the legislation serving of APC notices will continue as normal. Where contraventions occur we will consider the commencement of prosecution proceedings.
