How we will use the information about you  

The information you provide on this form will be used to provide you with confirmation regarding the status of any Highway Agreements under Section 38 and Section 278 of the Highways Act 1980 and copies of the relevant Agreements where requested, along with the status of Advance Payments Code Notices, and copies where requested.  

Who else will we share your information with?

We will only use this information in conjunction with your highway enquiry request. This may include checks with Planning, Local Land Charges, Building Control, Legal Services and Cormac to provide additional information to fully respond to your request.

How will we look after your data

Your data will be held within Cornwall Council’s secure network and premises and will not be processed outside of (the UK/the EEA).  Access to your information will only be made to authorised members of staff who are required to process it for the purposes outlined in this privacy notice.

How long will you keep this information for?

Current year plus 3 years after the request has been dealt with and concluded.

Why do you need my information?

You have asked us to provide you with copy documents and/or details regarding the status of documents highlighted on your local search result relating to Highway Agreements and/or Advance Payments Code Notices. This service incurs a charge and therefore we need your name, email address and payment details.  Without them we will not be able to provide you with the service.
