If you have a National Concessionary Bus Pass it is important to notify us if your details change. Any correspondence about your pass will be sent to the last known details we hold about you.

Update your address

If you have moved to another address in Cornwall, please use the form above.  Alternatively, please send a cover letter with your name, date of birth, contact number and previous address so that we can identify your record.

If you are moving to an address out of Cornwall, please return your bus pass to us using the address on this page and tell us that you are moving. You will be able to apply for a new bus pass in your new district/county. You cannot continue to use a Cornwall-issued card if you are no longer a resident in Cornwall.

If you have changed your name and wish for a pass to be issued in your new name before your current pass expires, please call us to make a payment of £10 by debit or credit card. You will also need to supply us proof of your new name e.g copy of deed poll certificate, copy of marriage certificate, photocard driving licence. Please do not send original documents as we cannot guarantee that we will be able to return these. Documents can be scanned and mailed to concessionaryfares@cornwall.gov.uk.

Alternatively please post photocopied documents to the address on this page or visit your local library.

If you do not immediately require a replacement pass in your new name you will need to supply us proof of your new name e.g copy of deed poll certificate, copy of marriage certificate. The pass can be returned in the post to Concessionary Fares, PO Box 769, TRURO, TR1 9JQ, or you can let us know by phone on 0300 1234 222 or email concessionaryfares@cornwall.gov.uk.

The details you provide will be used primarily with your claim for Concessionary Bus Pass; however we may share the data for the prevention and detection of fraud with departments and organisations responsible for auditing or administering public funds - such as Council Tax. In accordance with the Council’s Record Retention Policy, the information you provide will be retained in a secure environment for a maximum of five years, after which it will be destroyed in a secure manner.
