I have received a letter about changes to my resident zone, what do I need to do?

If you live in one of the zones below you will have received a letter and information from CORMAC to confirm the changes that are happening  following the recent public consultation.  These are due to be implemented on 1st October 2019 and from that date new guidelines for residents parking schemes, Terms and Conditions and permit types, will apply.

However until the 1st October 2019 the current guidelines etc for your zone are still applicable. Therefore if your current permit is due to expire before the 1st October 2019 and you need to renew it,  or you wish to purchase visitors permits, all the information and forms below will still apply. Please be aware that you will not be able to renew permits using those forms if our records show that it expires after the 30th September 2019.

However if you live in one the zones shown below and wish to apply for any of the new permit types i.e. Disabled Resident, Informal Carers, Charity, Guest House, or Care Home, so that it can start from 1st October then you will need to do so in advance using the forms on the Residents parking schemes operational 29th April 2019 page. We will have a high number of permits to process so to be sure to receive yours in time for October, please return your form and any necessary evidence required before the 26th August 2019. NB All permits which expire after 30th September 2019 will also need to be applied for using those forms.

Professional Care organisations are being contacted about applying to be able to park in the zones so if you have carers who visit you, you do not need to do anything to organise that.
