Camelford Area Community Network Panel

The Community Network Panel discusses issues affecting the community network area and agrees ways to progress them. It also seeks to build working relationships between local partners.

Panel meetings are open to the public and the press. Our public guide to community network panels explains how the meetings work and rules for reporting and filming meetings.

The panel includes local Cornwall Councillors and representatives from town and parish councils within the community network area. The panel can invite local organisations and service providers, like the Police and health services,  to join them at their meetings.

Future panel meeting dates

Camelford Community Network Panel meetings are scheduled for:

  • 23 February 2021 - 7pm online via Microsoft Teams

Cornwall Council Community Chest Crisis Scheme

The Community Chest gives grants to not-for-profit projects supporting local communities across Cornwall.  Each Cornwall Councillor has a small grants budget for projects in their area.  The main aim this year is to support projects responding to the Covid-19 pandemic.

We know that many small groups without a constitution are helping to respond to the crisis. We encourage these small groups to apply for a grant to support their local community work.

Groups with a constitution should first apply to Cornwall Community Foundation's Emergency Fund. Cornwall Council contributed £100,000 to the fund. Cornwall Community Foundation can offer grants between £1000 and £10,000.

The Community Chest may also be able to support:

  • Groups that are facing funding issues due to the crisis
  • Community projects that are not related to the crisis

To find out more, please email communitynetworks@cornwall.gov.uk

Applications for this year are now closed
