Naxos Spoken Word Library is a massive collection of the world’s greatest literature including classic novels, plays and poetry all the way from medieval times to modern day in an easy to access digital audiobook format.
To access this service you will need to be a library member.
To begin:
- Open Naxos Spoken Word Library
- On the left hand side of the page is a box marked ‘enter passcode’, enter your library card number here.
- This will take you to the main page
To use the NSWL app on your smart device:
- Create a Naxos Account
Create a login for the app by first accessing the website version (on a computer or mobile browser) - In the top, right hand corner click ‘Create Student/Member Account’
- Click on 'Sign up' and fill out the registration form. You'll get a validation email to confirm your account shortly after.
- Install the app
- Search for Naxosin the Apple Appstore or Android Store. NSWL will appear in the results.
- Open the app
- Login to the app using your Naxos account username (your email address) and password.
Our subscription is available to all borrowers but only allows 10 users online at the same time. We recommend using the app and downloading your selected title then changing to ‘offline mode’ to allow more users to access.
