Cornwall library members can access ebooks, emagazine and eaudiobooks at anytime, 24/7. Some can be downloaded to read anytime, anywhere. Others will require an internet connection to stream the content online.

Improve your career prospects or learn something new just for fun with an adult education course.

Want to learn to drive? Cornwall library members can practice the driving theory test for free. 

Beginner computer classes for people with little or no previous computer experience are available at your local library. Classes are two hours per week for four weeks, and are free to all Cornwall library members..  

Proper job is a free service for job seekers at your local library. Our trained staff will provide support to upload your CV to job sites and help with online job applications. 

We have lots of volunteering opportunities at the council. Volunteering can be a great way to gain experience, meet new people and contribute to local services which will make a real difference to Cornwall and its communities.

Have you bought something online that never arrived? Did your Christmas gift or January sales bargain turn out to be faulty or fake? Consumer advice in Cornwall is provided by the Citizens' Advice consumer service. They provide free, confidential and impartial advice on consumer issues. If something has gone wrong with your purchase you should contact your local Citizens Advice for help and advice.

Unless products are registered, it is very difficult to track them down. The ‘Register My Appliance’ website has a simple to follow process for all electrical appliances. You only need the brand name, model, serial number and purchase date. The manufacturer will only contact you in the event of a recall, your details will not be used for marketing.
