Wadebridge Library and One Stop Shop

Due to unavoidable maintenance work, the Information Service will be limited at Wadebridge Library on Saturday 15th September. We will be unable to take council payments or provide access to public computers, self serve kiosks will offer a  limited service. Bodmin is the nearest Library and Information Service and will be open from 10am to 1pm We apologise for any inconvenience.

  • Public car park at the front of the library, no disabled parking space available
  • Disabled access is via the main entrance which has automatic doors
  • The library is all on one level

Cash, cheque and card payments are taken during normal opening hours.

  • Applications for a National Concessions Bus Pass can be made on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 10am-noon and 2pm-4pm.  Saturdays by appointment only
  • Monthly drop in sessions for Cornwall Councillor Steve Knightley, Kernow Carers and Healthwatch. Please contact library for details
  • Computer classes for beginners
  • Play-reading group - U3A group meets on Monday, 2pm-4pm in the John Betjeman Centre.
  • Community Banker Drop-in sessions - 'How to stay safe online' - Fridays at 11.30am - 1.30pm.
  • Special events - we have a wide range of events taking place in libraries including author talks, drop-in events and much more. Find out if there are any special events taking place in a library near you.
  • Storytime sessions every Thursday 10:30am-11am (sessions do not run during school summer holidays)

We can order on your behalf or you can order direct using our request recycling equipment / recycling containment online form.

Seagull proof bags available at a cost of £3.50. Each reusable bag will hold three black rubbish sacks.
