Penryn Library and Information Service

Penryn Library and Information Service is managed by Penryn Town Council.  It is supported by Cornwall Council.

The majority of Cornwall’s libraries will continue to waive any overdue charges until further notice, but please check with your local branch to confirm.

Due to ongoing building works, Penryn Library will remain closed until further notice and will not be re-opening on Monday 6 July 2020.

Penryn Library are unable to operate a Click and Collect service. However customers can reserve books online to collect from our other libraries. The nearest library is Falmouth.

For your convenience there are a range of PayPoint and Post Office sites that accept both cash and card payments. Most Post Offices are still accepting cheques at no extra cost.  Your account will be updated overnight and many PayPoint stores have longer opening hours. Often including weekends, offering greater flexibility and choice. Head over to my area to see which facilities are available to you more locally.
