As Head of Service, you will:
- Lead multidisciplinary teams
- Shape and further improve early help and children’s social care services
- Lead specific practice areas across Cornwall
- Drive innovation and evidence-based interventions
- Further strengthen staff confidence, capability, wellbeing and resilience
Skills and Requirements:
- Qualified and registered social worker
- Proven track record of effective leadership in social care (ideally within a Local Authority setting)
- Ability to lead the development and delivery of innovative, evidence-based interventions
- Strong commitment to improving children's experiences and outcomes
- Expertise in building the confidence, capabilities, and resilience of the workforce
- Excellent ability to foster a positive, supportive work environment
- Willingness to engage in mentoring or coaching to further develop leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively within a senior leadership team
