Transfer of services

On 1 April 2019 Public Health Nursing (Health Visiting, School Nursing and Specialist Speech and Language Therapy) will transfer into Cornwall Council from Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CFT). This is the beginning of a wider programme to integrate education, early years, children’s community health, early help and social care services.

What will it mean for me and my child / children?

The services you and your child / children receive will remain the same and will continue to be provided by the same staff.  In order to ensure continuity of service, a copy of you and your child/children’s electronic and paper records will be transferred to the Council.  These will be transferred in a secure manner and will be held for the same retention and disposal periods.

You can view a copy of our privacy policy at www.cornwall.gov.uk/csfprivacy.
