Workforce Training Opportunities:

Cornwall’s Multi-Agency Sexual Health Training Team run a programme of training throughout the year. The programme includes course and booking information. Please email for current courses.

Cornwall recently launched the Brook Sexual Behaviours Traffic Light Tool. The tool supports all children and young people practitioners to recognise healthy and harmful sexual development and to respond effectively. If you are interested in attending free training supporting on using the tool please see the sexual health training programme. Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly’s Relationship and Best Practice guidelines are there to support practitioners across all agencies to:

  • Promote positive relationships, sexual health and understanding of physical and emotional development;
  • Distinguish healthy sexual development from potentially harmful behaviour;
  • Effectively identify, assess and appropriately respond to risk and need.
