Emergency Assistance Fund for Food and Essential Supplies

Eligibility

Eligibility

You’re eligible to apply if your organisation is a:
• voluntary or community organisation
• registered charity
• constituted group or club
• not-for-profit company or Community Interest Company
• school (as long as your project benefits and involves the communities around the school)
• statutory body (including town, parish and community council).
And
• your project is intended to meet an increased demand for food
• expand delivery to support more people experiencing food insecurity

Please note: If your organisation does not have a bank account, please provide details of which organisation will hold the money on your behalf.

Who will control my data?

The Data Controller for all the information you provide on this form is Cornwall Council, New County Hall, Treyew Road, Truro, TR1 3AY.  Data Protection Registration Number: Z1745294.

How we will use the information about you

The information you provide on this form will be used to take steps prior to entering into a contract to which you or your organisation are a party.  The contract is the provision by Cornwall Council of a grant to your organisation to support the project set out in your application (the terms and conditions of this contract are set out in Appendix 1 below).  The steps we will take include:

  • Assessing your application
  • Keeping you up to date about the progress of your application

If the grant is approved, the information will also be used for the performance of this contract, including:

  • Paying the grant to your organisation
  • Keeping in touch with you about your organisation’s use of the grant

Who else will we share your information with?

We will only use this information in conjunction with your grant application.  If your application is approved, we will also share your information with the Council’s finance department (the “Resources Service”) so they can pay the grant to your organisation.

Your data will be held within Cornwall Council’s secure network and premises and will not be processed outside of the UK.  Access to your information will only be made to authorised members of staff  who are required to process it for the purposes outlined in this privacy notice.

How long will you keep this information for?

6 years after the end of the current financial year (the 2020/21 financial year ends on 5 April 2021).
