Recycling, rubbish and waste

Collections of rubbish and recycling continue, so please put your bins out from 7am at their usual place on your normal collection day.

Bin crews may not arrive at their usual times over the coming weeks, but don't worry, they'll get to you as soon as they can.

Please put rubbish and recycling out by 7am for collection by 6pm. Report any missed collections the next day.

Waste with possible Coronavirus infection

Guidance for the disposal of waste for households with possible coronavirus infection; Personal waste (such as used tissues) and disposable cleaning cloths can be stored securely within disposable rubbish bags. These bags should be placed into another bag, tied securely and kept separate from other waste. This should be put aside for at least 72 hours before being put in your usual external household waste bin.Other household waste can be disposed of as normal.

Household Waste and Recycling Centres

Many of Cornwall’s Household Waste and Recycling Centres reopen on Tuesday, 19 May but for safety reasons we need to restrict how and when residents access the sites and the types of waste they can bring.
