Foster carers can help some of the most vulnerable children in Cornwall, providing them with guidance, stability and love. Cornwall Council and the Isles of Scilly's Family Fostering Service are looking for more people to become foster carers to help children in Cornwall.

We put children at the heart of everything that we do. We are looking for loving families who can provide a warm, nurturing and stable home for a child or sibling group.  Cornwall Council and the Isles of Scilly Adoption Agency achieved an 'outstanding' rating from Ofsted for children enjoying and achieving, with a 'good' overall rating for the service .

At times, for a variety of reasons, foster care is not suitable for some children and young people. A team of care workers may be more able to meet the child or young person's needs.  Some have more complex needs and may require intensive support.  Children and young people do tend to move from residential care back to a family environment, either home or foster care.  Some older children and young people may move on into their own accommodation with support.
