Consultation on draft Adult Social Care Charging Policy

We would like to hear your views on Cornwall Council’s adult social care charging policy.

Following discussions with a number of community and voluntary organisations and reflecting on feedback from local people we have revised the policy.  The policy describes how adult social care is paid for and why.

Online engagement sessions

We will be holding live online engagement sessions so you can find out more and ask any questions you may have. These will be held every Tuesday and Thursday throughout July and the first week of August. Sessions will be from 10am until 12 noon using Microsoft Teams. 

Each session will include a presentation to explain the policy and provide time for us to answer any questions you may have.  We will take notes to record all comments made.  The dates are:

We are also arranging some face to face sessions and workshops for August, so long as it is safe to do so, based on current lockdown regulations. More information will be available on this page soon.
